This splendid cup and saucer in the finest porcelain represents the perfect encounter between the art of porcelain by Richard Ginori and Gucci's unmistakable aesthetic. The decoration is the iconic Flora motif, originally created by Vittorio Accornero in 1966. The rim of the cup and saucer is finished with a hand-applied pure gold thread. A piece that celebrates the union between two historic Florentine excellences - Gucci and Richard Ginori. This white porcelain belongs to the prestigious "Manifattura di Doccia" line, the flagship of Ginori's production.
Dimensions: cup 8 x 6 cm; saucer 13 x 2.5 cm
Conditions:
The set is in good vintage condition, albeit with a small flaw: the cup has a thin vertical hairline on the porcelain. The defect is purely aesthetic and barely visible at first glance, not compromising the structural integrity of the piece or the beauty of the Flora decoration. The saucer, however, is in excellent condition.
Brand:
Both the cup and saucer bear the mark "Richard Ginori - Manifattura di Doccia - Florence - Italy - FOR Gucci". This specific marking testifies to the collaboration that took place between the late 70s and early 80s, the period in which Gucci entrusted its home line to the most prestigious manufacturers in the world.
Authenticity:
Each item is sold with its own Vigna Vintage Digital Certificate of Authenticity, which certifies its originality and historical conformity.
